In this diet you consume small amounts of food very frequently which will continuously fuel your body and help you lose weight.

South Beach Diet - The South Beach Diet is a weight-loss plan that concentrates on eating good carbohydrates and good fats. Because there is such a wide variety of food available on this diet, it is extremely popular among dieters. It is supposed to be used as a weight loss tool and lifestyle change.

Cookie Diet - The Cookie Diet is the answer to many people’s prayers. Eat cookies and lose weight? With the Cookie Diet, you consume cookies that are made of organic ingredients that will suppress your appetite and taste great. Aside from eating cookies, you will also enjoy a low fat dinner of lean protein and lots of vegetables.

Jenny Craig Diet - Jenny Craig uses celebrities to endorse their weight-loss program, which has made them a popular option. With Jenny Craig, you are given the option of purchasing pre-packaged food to lose weight. Different combinations of food are used for each meal, and dieters are allowed one or two snacks per day. There isn’t very much that is limited on this weight loss program, and although you don’t have to buy the food directly from Jenny Craig, it will make weight loss easier and it is encouraged.

Cabbage Soup Diet - If you are in need of a quick weight loss diet, the Cabbage Soup Diet may be for you. For one solid week, you eat from this batch of cabbage soup, which will help clean out your system and help you lose weight. A total weight loss of ten pounds or more is reported to be the norm with the Cabbage Soup Diet

The Right Diet For Your Body Type

Different body types require different weight loss strategies. By “type,” I mean not your blood type but your body type. Bodies can be classified as endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph.

For most of human history, the endomorph’s body type has been the type to have. Endomorphs retain fat. They tend to have large joints (”big bones”), a rounded body shape, and excess body fat. Endomorphs lose fat very slowly. Ectomorphs are at the opposite extreme. The ectomorph’s body type is skinny and bony. Ectomorphs tend to have a “fast metabolism” for their weight and have trouble gaining weight. Mesomorphs are the midrange of body types. Repeated loss and gain of body fat can cause lasting disturbances to the metabolism.

Ectomorphs respond best to brief, high intensity exercise. When ectomorphs skip meals, their metabolism tends to reset itself to “normal” speed. While the ectomorph is fasting, the body strips amino acids out of muscle to make glucose. Ectomorphs tend to burn carbohydrates. They tend to store fat. When they shift from a high-carb diet to a high-protein diet, their body fat increases.

The mesomorph has the basic body type of an Arnold Schwarzenegger, low body fat and massive muscles. Almost any kind of diet will help a mesomorph lose weight. We associate the endomorphic body type with excess fat, but this not an absolute. The body compensates by producing more insulin to move glucose into cells.

Unfortunately, insulin is 300 times more efficient at storing fat than it is at storing glucose.

Carbohydrate sensitivity and diabetes are the constant risk of the endomophic body type. High-carb diets pack on fat. Low-carb diets are beneficial for endomorphs, but endomorphs usually find it very hard to lose weight by diet alone.

In a nutshell, vegetables have fewer calories, less fat, and more nutrients compared to processed meats. Weight loss benefits

In Western countries, vegetarians have lower blood cholesterol and body mass index (BMI). But people on a vegetarian weight loss diet enjoy several other health benefits. They have a lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and other conditions linked to excess weight. It’s mostly because meat and animal products contain fewer preservatives, calories and saturated fats-the primary causes of unhealthy weight gain. Some risks

One of the main concerns about the vegetarian weight loss diet is that there aren’t enough sources of protein. Most vegetarians get their protein from beans, tofu and legumes. If you’re combining your vegetarian weight loss diet with an exercise regimen (which you should), consider taking protein supplements or consuming more vegetable proteins.

Types of vegetarianism

You don’t have to give up all animal foods to enjoy the benefits of a vegetarian weight loss diet. Semi-vegetarian: A semi-vegetarian weight loss diet rules out all red meat such as beef, pork, and lamb, but allows fish and poultry. Pesco-vegetarian: This diet prohibits all animal products, except fish and seafood. Lacto-vegetarian: Meat, poultry and eggs are prohibited; the only animal products allowed are milk and dairy.

Lacto-ovo vegetarian: This is the most common type of vegetarian weight loss diet. It only prohibits animal meats, but allows by-products such as animal oils, milk, eggs, and dairy.

Vegan: Described as “pure” vegetarianism, vegan diets prohibit all animal products.
